Hope for the New Year!!

As I begin this post, I am thinking back to my resolutions of 2007 and begin thinking of what could be in 2008. In 2006, I made three resolutions for 2007, which I plan on carrying on into 2008. (1) Write more poetry, (2) Draw more, and (3) Work out more and lose more weight. I modified my third resolution slightly because I now belong to a gym and will get in shape if I just work out more. I will continue my quest for success with my three resolutions and am sure that I will continue to see success in the New Year.

For 2008, I have quite a few "hopes" not resolutions because I already have those, but I have a few "hopes" for the New Year that I would love to see become a reality. First, I hope that we will be able to get closer to our home and family. I would love to be closer to our family so that we can hopefully make it home more than just once a year. Second, I hope that my husband sees success in business in 2008. He has had a good year this year and is turning all the right heads at the company's corporate headquarters. If he continues his success in business into the New Year, we will get to move closer to home. Third, I hope that I will see success in business. I am going to start selling Lia Sophia jewelry in January. I hope that I will be successful so that I will see a good return on my investment in this business. I am hoping that my school education will help me as I grow this business from the ground up. Fourth, I hope that I will see success in my family. I hope that we will continue to make each other happy and will continue to grow closer to one another. It is so easy to let it all slip away! I have another hope for my family that I have had for a while now that only a few people know that I have had. I am hoping that I will get to share it with everyone in 2008. Finally, I hope that my children will continue to see success in school. They both have been doing great in school and have both been getting super grades, even with missing a whole week of school to go back to Montana . I hope that they will continue their success in 2008 and will continue to make new friends and will continue to strengthen the friendships that they already have.

My hope for all of you in the New Year to to be happy and healthy in whatever you do.
Happy New Year to all of you!!!

I am trying to stay positive and hopeful. Since moving to Oregon, our lives have been pretty tough. B. and I were just talking about it the other night. It has been a huge and very hard adjustment only having one income. I hope that my new venture will be profitable for me/us.

Thanks for the link Barb, I will check it out.
