Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock

As the last few days count down to Christmas, I just wanted to take a minute during the last big push to the end to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday Season filled with lots of love and peace. I hope everyone is done shopping, wrapping (although I am not done wrapping yet), and baking. I hope you all enjoy the time you have with your families. I hope that for those of you who are not able to spend the holidays with your loved ones that you are reunited with them soon. I hope you all take a little time and relax this Holiday season and have some fun.

Remember, to laugh often and love much!

Merry Christmas!!

Hi, J. We missed you tonight. It was just us and your folks, Tony's family was sick and my dad ended up not coming...

We missed you.

D said that $50 was not too much to pay to get him those peanut rolls and greble. He really didn't understand, and said if they aren't here by New Years, he's taking action.

Merry Christmas, guys! We'll hopefully talk to you tomorrow!!

Love you.

Well, $50 is a lot when the household only has one income. If he wants peanut rolls and grebble, he can always come to Oregon and pick them up.

I really missed being there! Christmas was just not the same.

Love you too! :)

I wish you a Happy New Year Jazzy.

I hope your Christmas is all you wanted it to be. I will share a bit of Christmas past with you. Er, some history first. My first husband, sounds much like your hubby. But he did go out and buy...er something. One year when we were in Germany he bought me matching rocking chairs for me and my daughter. He kept them when we broke up. But at least he bought them when he liked me. Hubby number two literally threw the JC Penney's catalog in my lap one Christmas morning and told me to order something as a present from him. Another time (on Christmas morning) he got mad at me for buying him everything on his list (5 presents) and then said, and I quote, "Fine now we have no money, I can't buy you anything." My Ducky is (#3) he is generous, and always has a hard time at Christmas, it is so sad. He gets so bummed because something - no matter how hard he tried, and how early he orders - it gets screwed up. He doesn't get that for me it really is the thought that counts, and the effort he put into it.

Thanks for listening. Maybe I should blog this myself. You're very theraputic.

Happy New Year Jazzy

Cele,

Our Christmas was nice, although a little sad because we were not able to spend it with our family in MT. This was only the second time ever that we missed Christmas with the family. I order quite a few of our Christmas gifts every year. This year, I ordered my hubby an 8 disc dvd on World War II. He is a big WWII buff. The discs are an hour long each and are documentaries filled with actual footage from WWII. They showed up the Thursday or Friday before Christmas! The discs were on back order (I ordered them the end of September!). Talk about cutting it close. Christmas financially was really tight for us this year because we only have one income. I am glad that I am an expert bargain shopper. B. did pretty good this year. He got me a necklace and a photo printer/copier/scanner. I have thought about returning them because money is so tight, but B. would be disappointed. I always feel the need to sacrifice my gifts in favor of my family getting theirs.

Happy New Year!
